DYSECT/RENEGADE 1.5% w/v Pour-On for cattle
- Dysect/Renegade 1.5% pour-on contains alphacypermethrin for use as a topical ectoparasiticide on cattle of all ages including lactating cows, for the control of nuisance and biting flies (Haematobia spp., Stomoxys spp., Musca spp., hydrotea spp., Morellia spp.) and sucking and biting lice (Damalinia bovis, Linognathus vituli).
- Alphacypermethrin is a non-systemic pyrethroid insecticide that has been incorporated into an oily base, "ready to use" Pour-On formulation to be applied as a single 10 ml low volume dose along the mid-line of the animal.
- Administration of the product is facilitated by means of dispenser packs with internal calibrated chamber capable of measuring 10ml or using an applicator gun with a 1 litre capacity collapsible pack.

INDICATIONS
For the control of flies and lice on cattle.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
None
ADVERSE REACTIONS
Signs of discomfort may be exhibited by some animals after treatment. This will not last longer than 48 hours and will have no lasting effect on the animal.

DOSAGE, ROUTE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
All cattle 10ml per animal.
Application Administration:
Apply a single 10ml dose, with an applicator gun, from the crown of the head down the neck
and along the middle of the back of the animal.
Fly Control:
To control biting and nuisance flies, treatment should be repeated as necessary. Frequency of
application will depend on the numbers and species of flies present; normally nuisance flies
on the head and face can be controlled for up to 4/5 weeks and for the biting horn fly for up to
8 weeks.
Lice Control:
To control sucking and biting lice. One application treatment will normally eradicate all the
lice. If a few lice survive on individual animals, it may be necessary on very rare occasions to
re-treat an animal.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment.

Shelf life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 3 years.
SPECIAL STORAGE PRECAUTIONS
Do not store above 25°C.
Store in tightly closed original container.
Store away from food, drink and animal feedstuffs.
SPECIAL WARNINGS
Special precautions for use in animals
For to the product can be safely used during pregnancy and lactation.
Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the veterinary medicinal
product to animals
Wear waterproof apron and boots and impervious gloves when applying the product and when
handling recently treated animals.
Use the product in a well-ventilated area.
If splashed in the eye or on the skin, wash with plenty of clean, running water immediately. If
irritation persists, seek medical advice.
Do not smoke or eat while handling the product.
Wash hands and exposed skin before eating, drinking or smoking and after work.
Remove heavily contaminated clothing immediately and wash before re-use
Wash hands and exposed skin with soap and water after treatment and before eating drinking
and smoking.
Any unused product or waste material should be disposed of in accordance with national
requirements.
DANGEROUS to fish and aquatic life. Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches with
the product or empty container.
