Vaccines

Endectocides
Cydectin® does contain as active ingredient moxidectin. Moxidectin is a second generation macrocyclic lactone
parasiticide of the milbemycin family which differentiates the molecule from the avermectins. The Cydectin® range
for sheep consists of various formulations as Cydectin® 0,1% Oral drench for sheep and Cydectin® 1% injectable
solution. Cydectin® 2% injectable solution and Cydectin® TriclaMox 0,1%&5% Oral drench for sheep.
All formulations do have a high potency and a long persistency period against gastro intestinal roundworms of sheep.
Clinical trials have shown that Cydectin® 0,1% Oral drench is effective against certain benzimidazole resistant strains of
Haemonchus, Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus and Cooperia. Cydectin® 1% injectable solution is recommended for prevention and
treatment of scab and treatment of nasal bot.
The latest additions to the range are:
Cydectin® 2% sheep injection which is a long acting formulation with endo and ecto activity. This formulation is
clearly a plus for managing the gastrointestinal nematode and ectoparasite treatment especially for Scab (Psoroptes mange).
Cydectin®TriclaMox sheep drench is a combination of moxidectin and triclabendazole, two very active and potent molecules.
Where moxidectin is active against nematodes and triclabendazole is active against Fasciola even against the very early immature stages.
Cydectin® products are dung beetle and rain worm friendly.
Ectoparasiticides
Dysect/Renegade 1.25% pour-on contains alphacypermethrin for use as a topical ectoparasiticide on sheep of all
ages including for the control of blow fly strike flies in sheep and lice and ticks in lambs.
Alphacypermethrin is a non-systemic pyrethroid insecticide that has been incorporated into an oily base,
"ready to use" Pour-On formulation to be applied as a single 40 o 25 ml volume dose along the mid-line of the animal.
Administration of the product is facilitated by means of dispenser packs with internal calibrated chamber with
500 ml or 1 litre capacity collapsible pack.
Biodectin® is a combination of a clostridium inactivated vaccine and moxidectin for sheep in an injectable form. It is used for prevention and treatment of scab and treatment of gastro intestinal roundworms and nasal bot. Next to that the product provides protection against various Clostridium infections and helps to decrease the incidence of C. pseudotuberculosis.
Antimicrobials
Duphamox® is the brandname of injectable antimicrobials with amoxycilline as active ingredient. Fort Dodge has short action and long action formulations of amoxycilline. Amoxycilline is a broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic with in vitro activity against a wide range of Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria.
Duphapen® is the brandname of injectable antimicrobials with as active ingredient penicilline. Fort Dodge has short action and long action formulations of penicilline. Penicilline is indicated in the treatment of infections caused by, or associated with, organisms sensitive to this ingredient.
Duphacyclin® is the brandname of injectable antimicrobials with as active ingredient oxytetracycline.
Fort Dodge has short action and long action formulations of oxytetracycline. Oxytetracycline is a broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic
with in vitro activity against a wide range of Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria.
