Vaccines
The Suvaxyn® range of swine vaccines consist of innovative and effective products helping to maintain health in swine farms across the world. Suvaxyn® M.hyo is a carbopol-adjuvanted, inactivated mycoplasma vaccine strongly reducing the negative impact of enzootic pneumonia. It not only enhances lung health, but also has an excellent return of investment, by reducing the feed conversion, increasing average daily weight gain and reducing the number of antibiotic treatments. Suvaxyn® Aujeszky-vaccines are amongst the most effective vaccines available on the market. They not only reduce clinical disease very effectively, but also slow down spread of field virus to other pigs, making it a very appropriate tool in national and regional disease eradication programs. Fort Dodge Animal Health also offers high-quality vaccines for parvovirus, erysipelas, parvo + erysipelas combined, M.hyo + Haemophilus parasuis combined, swine influenza, atrophic rhinitis and others. Antimicrobials
Duphamox® is the brandname of injectable antimicrobials with amoxycilline as active ingredient. Fort Dodge has short action and long action formulations of amoxycilline. Amoxycilline is a broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic with in vitro activity against a wide range of Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria.
Duphapen® is the brandname of injectable antimicrobials with as active ingredient penicilline. Fort Dodge has short action and long action formulations of penicilline. Penicilline is indicated in the treatment of infections caused by, or associated with, organisms sensitive to this ingredient.
Duphacyclin® is the brandname of injectable antimicrobials with as active ingredient oxytetracycline. Fort Dodge has short action and long action formulations of oxytetracycline. Oxytetracycline is a broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic with in vitro activity against a wide range of Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. In addition, Duphacyclin® is also available in an Aerosol/Spray that is indicated for the treatment of foot rot in sheep and topical infections caused by oxytetracycline sensitive organisms in cattle, sheep and pigs.
Anti-inflammatories
Meflosyl® 5% injection is a sterile aqueous solution containing flunixin meglumine. Flunixin meglumine is a potent non-steroidal and non-narcotic analgesic agent possessing anti-inflammatory anti-endotoxic and antipyretic properties.
